Alpha Technologies has acquired Cheetah Technologies, based in Pittsburgh, PA. Cheetah is a developer and supplier of network monitoring hardware and software solutions for the global cable and broadband industry.

Alpha and Cheetah have both collaborated in outside plant power supply monitoring for several decades to serve similar markets and mutual customers. Alpha will continue to operate the Pittsburgh facility, and Alpha's North American and global sales teams will market the newly acquired hardware and software products.
