Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) announced that it its Xfinity WiFi network now has more than 300,000 hotspots in New England, with more hotspots planned to go live this year. The MSO's WiFi network in the region consists of outdoor hotspots in commercial areas, neighborhood hotspots in residential areas, and hotspots in business locations.
