Appear TV: Modular Headends in Moscow

At the CSTB show in Moscow, Appear TV will be showcasing its range of modular headend gear. A highlight at CSTB will be the demonstration of a hardware-based multiscreen transcoding module designed to deliver live channels simultaneously to all screen formats.

Appear TV's XC series modular headend chassis are designed with hot-swappable dual power supplies and enhanced cooling with N+1, N+M redundancy capability, statistical multiplexing and multi-platform multicasting capabilities, managed by a single user interface.

Available plug-in modules include audio leveling, decoding, encoding/transcoding for multiscreen delivery, I/O interfaces, multiplexing, multiscreen/OTT, modulation, redundancy, scrambling/de-scrambling and switching.
