Electroline has announced the release of its third generation of WiFi over DOCSIS 3.0 platform, the AeroQAM3. Carrying data over a DOCSIS 3.0 backhaul, the hotspot is designed to support fixed, nomad or mobile data transfer. In addition to functioning as a revenue-generating WiFi hotspot, it includes DOCSIS 3.0 network monitoring elements for RF metrics.The hotspot features a scalable, software configurable, high transmit power WiFi radio intended to provide wider coverage range, higher reliability and superior data rates. It's also designed for smart dynamic channel selection to mitigate interference. The AeroQAM3 will be displayed at Cable-Tec Expo in Atlanta.
