Azuki Systems has shipped its major release of the Azuki Media Platform, version 4.0, which includes the Azuki One-Pass TVE workflow. The upgraded platform is designed to support a distributed MPEG-DASH controller and an open standards multiscreen video client software development kit (SDK) for personalized TV services.The Azuki One-Pass TVE workflow is intended to provide one-to-one personalized TV experiences across all screens based on preferences, networks, devices, locations and media consumption information. The distributed MPEG-DASH controller embeds and correlates existing metadata and re-uses the information as service components to enhance the user experience.
