Casa Systems announced the launch of the C100G, an Integrated Converged Cable Access Platform (I-CCAP) product. The platform is designed to enable MSOs to deploy MPEG video, IPTV, and DOCSIS over a single port and high density at low average power per channel.The C100G consists of the following new modules: downstream module (DS8X96); switching module (SMM8X10G); and the existing upstream module (US16X4). The platform is designed to support more than 8,000 downstream channels and to work with the company's Software Defined Cable Architecture (SDCA).
