MaxLinear (NYSE:MXL) has joined the board of directors of the Multimedia over Coax Alliance, moving up from an Associate level membership the company has held since 2011. The chip maker became eligible for a seat on the MoCA board as a result of its acquisition of Entropic Communications, first announced in February.
