RCN, Grande and Wave, providers of high-speed internet, digital TV and phone services across the U.S., this month announced they will be offering the TiVo Stream 4K device, an integrated and easy-to-use streaming device for providing quick access to top streaming apps including Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, and live TV from SLING TV. The new device will be paired with RCN, Grande and Wave’s ultra-high-speed internet and exclusive offers to bring more flexibility to home entertainment options.

As described by the provider:

The TiVo Stream 4K brings together shows and movies from your favorite services, whether live or streaming, on one screen through the intuitive TiVo interface and guide – creating a unique and comprehensive platform, especially for internet-only customers. The device, paired with RCN, Grande and Wave’s high-speed internet, with speeds up to 940 Mbps, boasts a partnership with SLING TV and is integrated with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, YouTube and more. It also includes TiVo+, TiVo’s own free video network that delivers more than 140 live streaming channels and thousands of movies and TV shows to viewers. The TiVo Stream 4K works with TiVo’s “peanut” remote control, enabling conversational voice search to make finding your perfect show easier than ever.

In partnership with SLING TV, the TiVo Stream 4K device seamlessly connects customers to live television, along with popular channel listings from SLING TV such as ESPN, Bravo and MSNBC. Also included is access to local channels through the Locast app, displayed via universal search and mimicking the look and feel of traditional cable. SLING TV subscribers will be able to easily search for their favorite shows on the TiVo Stream 4K interface, or through the Voice Remote, and its wide variety of live content.

Content is presented alongside titles available through TiVo+ and other streaming services, so users can search less and watch more. Internet customers can “bring their own TV” through other services as well, including Pluto, Google Play, Tubi, YouTube TV and more.

“As a provider committed to bringing customers unique, affordable options, we continue to partner with brands such as TiVo and SLING TV to offer customers ultimate choice and control,” said Chris Fenger, COO of RCN, Grande and Wave. “With the TiVo Stream 4K, internet-only customers can connect our award-winning internet service to a compact and powerful device to create an entirely customizable entertainment experience with access to live TV, streaming services and free TiVo content in one place.”

Any customer who subscribes to RCN, Grande or Wave high speed internet service of 100 Mbps or higher can add a TiVo Stream 4K device free for 12 months alongside free access to TiVo+. Additional devices are available at just $0.99 per month for the first year. Customers who have not previously subscribed to SLING TV can also take advantage of a $10 monthly SLING TV discount on SLING Orange and/or SLING Blue service for the first four months by signing up with a promo code provided by RCN, Grande or Wave at http://www.sling.com/promo.

Available to all of the providers' internet customers, the TiVo Stream 4K also streams the highest quality audio and video with Dolby Atmos sound and Dolby Vision HDR for viewers to enjoy popular movies, shows and music. To learn more, visit http://www.rcn.com/tivo-stream/
