ARRIS Announces App Store

ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) announced the addition of the ARRIS Market, an application store launched in conjunction with partner AppCarousel, as part of the ARRIS Whole Home Solution Moxi User Interface. Launched in an HTML5 browser, the MSO-customizable ARRIS Market is intended to present a full screen app store enabling subscribers to interact with social media, play games, and consume alternate forms of over-the-top (OTT) content.The ARRIS Market will be introduced in a series of Moxi software releases during 2013. The initial release will feature such content as Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, weather, news, and games. The offering will be regularly enhanced and refreshed.
