CommScope’s Smart Media Device (SMD) platform 7852 combines all of the primary devices for the connected home into a single piece of hardware. It incorporates a set-top box, speaker, smart assistant, far-field voice command technology and remote control in one device, presenting service providers with a new framework for personalized and aggregated services in entertainment, e-health, education, utilities, productivity and more. It also includes the latest WiFi 6 technology along with the latest AV1 and HDR technologies.
