Leakage tools face many challenges as the HFC plant evolves. Seeker X addresses these challenges through frequency agility (130 - 1220 MHz) to work in any channel lineup, support of up to four concurrent monitoring frequencies to detect leaks across the entire frequency band, ability to work in DAA and DOCSIS 3.1 networks and use of what the company asserts are superior antenna solutions. Use of Seeker X enables opex reduction, decreased customer churn and fine avoidance, VIAVI adds.

Judge's Comment: "This is a useful product for any cable operator, particularly those employing Remote-PHY or Remote MAC-PHY DAA techniques."
