Interra Systems Inc. ORION with ORION Central Manager (OCM) - 3.5 Diamonds

Sept. 29, 2020
Interra Systems’ ORION is designed to perform critical monitoring functions on hundreds of services simultaneously from a single platform. At the heart of the monitoring system is a software probe that supports a variety of inputs such as IP, ASI, SDI, etc., and looks at every program, from top-level transport stream down to individual programs along with audio and video quality. The system performs monitoring 24x7 and reports errors and critical information immediately through dashboards and alerts. The Central Manager provides enterprise-wide visibility into QoE and QoS issues across diverse geographies.

Judge’s Comment: “Real-time content monitoring as it moves into our networks from origin and out again to customer devices is an important service assurance and QoE need in a cable provider network… These types of tools will continue to grow in importance in cable provider networks as all-IP video, voice and data content continue to grow.”
