VIAVI Solutions OneAdvisor-800 - 4 Diamonds

Sept. 29, 2020
The VIAVI OneAdvisor-800 is an all-in-one cell-site installation tester designed to meet the evolving needs of service providers and field technicians as they scale 5G infrastructure. It enables cell-site technicians to test fiber, RF and CPRI/Ethernet from a single instrument, replacing multiple independent tools like an OTDR and coax sweep tester, significantly reducing test costs. The user interface guides technicians through a preconfigured common test process, making sure that technicians complete the job in the same way. Technicians receive built-in guidance, automatic test configuration, pass/fail results and a single closeout report every time, at every site.

Judge’s Comment: “One single tool for the cell-site construction or test engineer specifically geared to coax- and fiber-based extensions of the macro cell site. I like this one-tool approach for this application.”
