Cincinnati Bell (NYSE:CBB) plans to introduce "Fioptics MyTV" video service in March. The service is built around a Starter Package of 50 channels, plus at least one "Genre Package" such as sports or children's programming, allowing a degree of customization. The Starter Package will be $29.99 a month, and Genre Packages will range from $6 to $25 a month.

MyTV will be available as a standalone service, or bundled with Fioptics Internet service, which offers speed tiers up to 1 Gbps.

"Cincinnati Bell understands customers want more choice and control in the fast-changing content space," said Ted Torbeck, CEO of Cincinnati Bell. "'MyTV' gives consumers the ability to tailor content packages to their specific interests, and simultaneously maximize the value of their monthly subscriptions."
