TWC Launches 'WiFi Finder'

According to this Time Warner Cableblog posting, the MSO has launched a WiFi Finder app, starting in southern California, and available at Android Marketplace. TWC plans to expand it to other parts of the country as well, and an iOS version is expected in a few weeks.The finder is designed for automatic authentication to TWC's WiFi network and offers an online hotspot map with available TWC WiFi hotspots. It also features offline hotspot listing, distinct indoor and outdoor TWC WiFi hotspot markers, directions to TWC WiFi hotspots, basic session usage, and reporting capabilities.
