On June 26, Paris-based managed Wi-Fi solutions provider Airties announced that it has opened a new Research and Development center in Bangalore, India, its first office in the country.
Airties reports that the new center will employ around 100 specialized software engineers. Work at the center will focus on enhancing AI, cloud, and DevOps for Smart Wi-Fi.
Airties founder and CEO Metkin Taskin said in a press release, “At Airties, we recognize that our success at enabling leading ISPs to innovate and differentiate comes directly from our ongoing commitment to software R&D. Our new, world-class software innovation center in Bangalore aims to attract the very best engineers interested in applying their skills to enhance the broadband experience for fiber, cable, and fixed wireless providers the world over.”
Airties also recently announced the launch of its continuous test platform Orbit, which supports Smart Wi-Fi integrations and deployments.
