Fiber Optek Interconnect Corp. (Wappingers Falls, NY) announced a multimillion-dollar expansion to one of its existing contracts, increasing the value of the contract to nearly $20 million. The original contract includes the design, permit, and construction of a fiber-optic infrastructure from southwestern Connecticut to southeastern New York. The new contract adds more than 50 mi to that infrastructure, extending its reach to include New York City`s financial district.
