Fiber-optic multiplexer

The FM-1600 multiplexer is a remotely controlled, two-pole fiber-optic switch suitable for the ftir spectroscopy market. The unit lets users insert one of eight different sensors or optical circuits between the optical source and the spectrometer. It is equipped with ST optical connectors and can be used with any type of fiber with cone sizes from 200 to 600 microns. Operation is through a front-panel keyboard, standard RS-232 port, or optical RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces. The multiplexer is priced from $3750.
