3 October 2002 -- Lancier Monitoring GmbH officially started operations at the beginning of September with 23 former employees of Peter Lancier GmbH & Co. KG, that recently announced insolvency.

The new company focuses on development, production and marketing of monitoring systems for fibre optic and copper cables as well as pressurisation equipment. The General Managers, Detlef Maertin, Wilhelm Vogler and Roland Schaefer are optimistic. "This business unit was indeed profitable within the old enterprise", says Detlef Maertin, " The products and services internationally enjoy an excellent reputation at telcos and network providers of all sizes."

In a few weeks' time the new "Unified Monitoring System" will be launched by the company. Previous feedback regarding the beta version was extraordinarily promising, because the new monitoring system is upwards compatible to almost any monitoring system in the market.

Marketing manager Torsten Angerhausen said, "We are offering a state of- the-art system with extremely high reliability and accuracy, which can be used even more universally now, thanks to new features such as Internet support and integration of third-party systems."

Lancier monitoring collaborates world-wide with numerous agencies. The head office, production and sales center are situated in Muenster, Germany as before.
