AM¥Inc., Harrisburg, PA, is buying out M/A-Com Inc., Lowell, MA. AM¥will trade stock worth approximately $270 million for M/A-Com`s shares and will assume $75 million in M/A-Com debt. The Pennsylvania company will use M/A-Com as its entree to the wireless business. The latter will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary.
