Leviton releases Opt-X HDX high-density fiber enclosures and panels for data center networks
Leviton Network Solutions announced the release of additional Opt-X HDX rack-mount enclosures and panels to offer more architecture options to its HDX cassette-based fiber platform. The new products increase fiber port counts by up to 33% to provide additional interconnect or crossconnect patching for high-density data center networks.
“The expanded line gives network managers even more options to align the needs of their network architecture and operational preferences with the fiber density offered in a patch panel,” said Brooke Ford, director of fiber product management at Leviton. “The new enclosure and panels accept our full range of compact HDX MTP cassettes, splice modules and adapter plates.”
The new enclosures and panels accept Base8, Base12, and Base24 HDX MTP cassettes, adapter plates, and splice modules for migration to 100, 200, and 400 Gbps and beyond. Additional features of the HDX enclosures include four enclosure sizes that will accommodate 96, 192, 288, or 384 fibers; additional spacing for easier access; and higher visibility using innovative magnifying lenses on each panel. The new HDX rack-mount enclosures and panels will be available for shipping November 1, 2021.
