Quantifi Photonics Appoints Kees Propstra as Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of the Company’s USA Operations.

Sept. 15, 2022

AUSTIN, TEXAS, 15 SEPTEMBER 2022 – Quantifi Photonics, a leader in high-density photonics test and measurement, has appointed industry veteran Kees Propstra as Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of Quantifi Photonics USA Inc.

Following a successful Series C round led by Intel Capital earlier this year, the newly created role will accelerate the roll-out of the company’s high-density photonic test instrumentation. The new solutions, such as the recently launched 288-channel optical power meter, enable manufacturers to complete full parallel testing of high-channel-count devices in the smallest, and most accurate and reliable instruments available.

Dr Andy Stevens, CEO and co-founder of Quantifi Photonics says, “Kees has a wealth of product management and technology marketing experience across optical and electronic test and measurement. He is joining the company at an incredibly exciting time as we focus on delivering the highest-density solutions for optical transceivers and silicon photonic devices, and execute on our rapid growth strategy in the US.”

Propstra says, “It is an honor to join Quantifi Photonics. The company is in a unique position to enable the next phase of the photonics evolution with innovative products, and I am looking forward to meeting with customers at ECOC next week to discuss their testing needs.”

Propstra has over 20 years of experience in product management and technology marketing, including roles at JDS Uniphase, Optun, Tektronix and most recently holding executive roles at MultiLane. He completed a Master of Science in physics and a post-graduate degree in modern optics from the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
