AUGUST 25, 2008 -- Hitachi Telecom (USA) has teamed up with Falcon IP/Complete of Malden, MO, to provide a fully integrated MPEG-4 IPTV solution for service providers

AUGUST 25, 2008 -- Hitachi Telecom (USA) (search for Hitachi Telecom) has teamed up with Falcon IP/Complete of Malden, MO, to provide a fully integrated MPEG-4 IPTV option for service providers that are implementing Hitachi's AMN1220 Gigabit Passive Optical Network Fiber to the Premises.

The combined offering is suitable for municipalities, master planned communities, and telcos that provide triple-play services to rural areas and smaller communities that need a source for their own competitive video offering.

Channel lineups are flexible and currently include 180 standard definition and 32 HDTV channels, along with 56 music channels, and all local channels.
