Orckit supplies Carrier Ethernet transport product to carrier in India

SEPTEMBER 14, 2009 -- Orckit-Corrigent's Carrier Ethernet + Transport CM-4000 product will be used to enable broadband triple-play services for a leading carrier in India.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2009 -- Orckit Communications Ltd., a Carrier Ethernet + Transport (CE+T) networking vendor, has announced that its CM-4000 product was selected by a leading telecommunication service provider in India through an OEM channel.

Orckit-Corrigent's product will be deployed as part of a next-generation triple-play network based on GPON technologies. The total expected revenues to Orckit-Corrigent from the first phase of deployment through this OEM channel are approximately $4.0 million.
