Fusion splicing kit contains all essential tools

April 6, 2005 Oriskany, NY -- Fiber Instrument Sales (FIS) has introduced its fusion splicing kit, which the company says contains all of the essential tools required to achieve a reliable fusion splice. The kit's 25 items include cable preparation tools, consumables, and fusion protection sleeves. The kit is also available with a cleaver. Fusion splicers are sold separately.
