Field-installable SC connector
The Optimax SC optical-fiber field-installable connector can be assembled in one minute using simple tools such as a fiber cleaver and stripper. It incorporates a prepolished fiber stub and splice mechanism and a floating ferrule that prevents optical disconnection if the cable is pulled.
