Laser source

The KI7800 laser source suits field or laboratory testing of fiber-optic systems. Up to three sources can be specified per instrument, with 140-hr battery life. Sources can be used with Autotest-compatible meters to automate loss-testing functions. A single- or dual-wavelength source and meter in Autotest mode automatically measures single- or dual-wavelength attenuation in one direction. The device incorporates interchangeable connectors and menu-driven five-button operation.
