Planar waveguide couplers

The 1 ¥ N pigtailed planar waveguide couplers have an optical pattern generated within the material via a photolithographic process. These 1 ¥ 8 and 1 ¥ 16 coupler configurations have 1300- and 1550-nm singlemode and polarization-maintaining fibers with fast or slow axis alignment.
