Release 3.1 for the Network Information Computers software adds OC-12c (599.04 Mbits/sec) support to the asa 312 platform for DS-1, DS-3, and Sonet (stsx-1, OC-1, OC-3, and OC-12). Other added features include 1550-nm laser, switchable dual-laser option for 1310 and 1550 nm, independent atm traffic generation on 250 virtual channels, single-burst transmission for atm testing, and enhanced remote control over Ethernet.
