Optocoupler

The IL440-X triac driver optocoupler consists of a GaAs infrared emitter optically coupled to a detector--specifically a small triac chip with a non-zero crossing network. The output detector is capable of blocking up to 600V, which permits control of offline voltages up to 240V AC. The emitter and detector are assembled in an industry-standard 6-pin dual inline plastic package.
