SC fiber-optic connectors

ntt-standard multipiece SC fiber-optic connectors come in singlemode and multimode versions for telecommunications and data-com mu ni cations applications. The connectors consist of thermoplastic, with a pre-radi used or pre-angled zirconia ferrule to achieve typical in sertion loss of less than -0.2 dB. Fer rule assemblies are tun able for precise core-to-core align ment. Return loss of spc, upc, and apc connectors is -45, -50, and -60 dB, respectively. Operating temperature is -20° to +70°C.
