The company has enhanced its Vanguard 80 digital-loop carrier system with a line-powered repeater and a craft interface to control and monitor the system via computer software. The repeater doubles the signal distance between central office and remote terminals. The interface features a DB9 input/output port and software that performs operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning from either a local or remote location.
