Italian telecommunications research establishment Centro Studi e Laboratori Telecomunicazioni will receive the flx-2500 interactive switched-digital broadband video platform from BroadBand Technologies Ltd., Surrey, UK. Telecom Italia will use the equipment for controlled lab demonstration and evaluation of end-to-end Asynchronous Transfer Mode services, including Internet access and user interfaces, integrated with traditional telephony.
