Sprint Communications Corp.`s Telecommunications Div., Kansas City, has selected reltec Corp.`s Disc*S system, a next-generation digital-loop carrier, for network applications throughout North America. Sprint began to integrate the platform into its network in 1994 and is expected to deploy an additional $60 million in equipment over the next two years.
