Optical-fiber cleaver

The FCP-21 compact precision optical-fiber cleaver weighs 180 grams and has a 55䂚-mm footprint. It produces endface conditions with a push-button fiber breaker that gives consistent end angles of 0.5° or less. The product uses the same scoring blades as the FCP-3 and can cleave single fibers with buffer diameters of 0.25 to 0.9 mm. Also available is the 4-fiber ribbon version--the FCP-24.
