Epoxy Technology Inc. has introduced the EPO-TEK OE 184, an optically clear adhesive for fiber-optic applications.

This product exhibits tremendous strength to fiber and other fiber-optic parts, claims the company. It is highly reliable even when exposed to conditions of 85 degrees C or 85% RH. The properties of the EPO-TEK OE 184 include a high Tg, at 127 degrees C, low viscosity, and a convenient 10:1 mix ratio.

The EPO-TEK OE 184 is ideal for such application as SMF, bundling, connectors, fiber-to-ferrule, patch cards, splicing, and various other fiber-optic applications for high-speed communication.

Additional information about the OE 184 or any of Epoxy Technology's (Billerica, MA) EPO-TEK products can be found on the company's Web site, www.EPOTEK.com.
