Broadband data-distribution software

The ProCast data broadcasting software package enables service providers to offer IP-based data broadcasting, multicasting, and "push" services. The package`s data distribution services work with this company`s CyberStream family of data-over-broadband systems, which allow satellite, cable-TV, and wireless operators to offer Internet access and other data services at speeds to 52 Mbits/sec. The "one-to-many" feature of the broadcasting software allows a single package to be simultaneously distributed to multiple users. The system may be used in wide-scale distribution of a single piece of content, such as software, newsletters, stock news, and price-list updates.
