Vyvx Inc., Tulsa, OK, assisted broadcast news coverage of the Terry Nichols Oklahoma City bombing trial via a mobile fiber-optic switching facility at the trial site in Denver, CO. Vyvx equipped a 10 x 40 ft trailer with 24 two-way video circuits and set it up 100 ft from the courthouse. The mobile facility connected broadcast networks and news services to Vyvx`s nationwide network. Signals were routed to the terrestrial network through the Vyvx television switching center in Denver, or to the Vyvx Denver Teleport for uplinking to satellites with footprints in North America, the Asia-Pacific region, and across the Atlantic.
