Asynchronous fiber-optic multiplexer

The MegaMux fme-a fiber-optic multiplexer multiplexes several copper channels on a single fiber pair to increase the efficiency of the existing system. One device converts the electrical data of up to 12 dtes into light signals and transfers them transparently. Another multiplexer receives the signals, reconverts them, and then divides them among the attached units. When four units are stacked, data signals of 192 channels can be supported.
