Ortel Corp. (Alhambra, CA) announced that more than 200 of the company`s Series 5100 long-band fiber-optic links will be installed in the new directv Los Angeles Broadcast Center. Globecomm Systems Inc. (Hauppauge, NY), the company that will integrate Ortel`s fiber-optic equipment into the new directv facility, secured the contract.
