Nokia Telecommunications (Helsinki, Finland) signed an agreement to provide its Nokia Synfonet Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (sdh) solution, including the stm-16 (2.5-Gbit/sec) node, to TelSA GmbH (Halle, Germany) for use on TelSA?s new high-capacity transmission network. Nokia will also supply its DX 200 digital switching platform and its network-management system.
