MediaOne (Denver, CO), the broadband services arm of MediaOne Group, has begun providing local telephone service to Culver City, CA, via the introduction of MediaOne Digital Telephone Service. The service is provided over the company`s hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable network. MediaOne is currently more than halfway through a major network upgrade that, once completed, will be able to deliver enhanced video, digital voice, and high-speed data services to millions of consumers who live in MediaOne service areas.
