Portable sonet/DS-N/atm analyzer

The MP1555A portable analyzer is for troubleshooting sonet, DS-N, and atm networks. The analyzer, which supports both U.S. and international mappings, can be used to test these networks in construction, maintenance, and the evaluation of related network equipment. The module measures 177 ¥ 320 ¥ 350 mm and weighs 10 kg (unloaded). It accommodates a built-in printer and a floppy disk drive to store test results and update firmware. With the appropriate plug-in module, the analyzer can make jitter and wander measurements at all bit rates, including sonet rates of 52, 156, and 622 Mbits/sec, and ds-n rates of 1.5, 2, 34, 45, and 139 Mbits/sec. All signals are measured with ۪.1 ppm accuracy and signal clocking can be internally generated or provided externally to the device.
