FlexPoint media converters provide a range of 10Base Ethernet connectivity options across different media, including fiber, utp and coax. The full-duplex mode in the converters doubles the bandwidth available when connecting file servers to a switch and with connections between switches. FlexPoint can adapt to 10-Mbit/sec half-duplex or 20-Mbit/sec full-duplex Ethernet extensions when connecting between switches, hubs, servers, workstations and PCs. The converters feature led displays and diagnostics that assist in installation and maintenance.
