InfoCom '08 to open this week in Moscow

OCTOBER 20, 2008 -- The eighth annual International Exhibition and Forum of Information Technologies and Telecommunications--dubbed InfoCom 2008--will be held from October 22 - 25 at IEC Crocus Expo in Moscow, with the support of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation.

A major Russian exhibition, InfoCom would be of interest not only to ICT professionals, but also to everyone who wants to keep up with the latest developments in the field, say exhibition organizers. The largest domestic and foreign companies operating on the Russian market will present their latest ICT products.

Industry specialists will have a chance to attend informative events as part of a rich Business Program meant to facilitate effective information sharing and provide a forum for constructive dialog between market players and government representatives.

The exhibition's Business Program includes the following events:
• Round tables on current issues in the ICT sector with the participation of the heads of federal ministries and departments;
• A comprehensive international program on information technologies and communications;
• Presentations on the newest developments of exhibiting companies in the field of ICT; and
• Various round tables with the participation of top managers of important ICT companies and representatives of the authority.

At various seminars and master classes, you will not only hear discussions of new opportunities and services that have appeared in the ICT sector, but also see all of these solutions in action.
