Optical time-domain reflectometer

The K2310 OTDR combines a reflectometer, wattmeter, fault diagnostic unit and laser light source in a portable unit. The OTDR carries out automatic fiber analyses, event tables and rational multiple measurements. It uses protected algorithms, analyzing the entire cable run at the push of a button. Singlemode fibers at 1310/1550 nm are measured for attenuation within a dynamic range of 30/28 dB. Multimode fibers at 850/1300 nm are covered by a dynamic range of 20 dB. Operating temperature range is -10 to +50C.
