FDDI bypass switch

The FDDI 2000 bypass switch sidesteps dual-attached FDDI stations without loss of ring integrity. It features a typical insertion loss of 1.1 dB and a switching speed of 10 msec. The switch is available with FDDI MIC, ST-style or SC duplex connector interfaces and 50/125- or 62.5/125- micron pigtailed fibers. A rack-mount panel is also available.
