FC connectors

Augat FC connectors contain stainless ferrules and all-stainless steel bodies and nuts. Keyed, threaded coupling produces less than 0.1-dB change over 200 matings and similar change over a temperature range of -40° to +75°C. Attenuation ranges from 0.25 to 0.5 dB, depending on fiber sizes and tolerances. Flat, PC and angle polishes can be achieved on widely used hand polishing tools or polishing machines. These FC connectors are intermatable with industry-standard adapters and other hardware from many manufacturers.
