array WAVEGUIDE GRATINGS

Aug. 1, 2000

New high-channel-count array waveguide gratings with the uniformity, crosstalk, and passband performance required in high-performance DWDM systems are the first in a new line of products based on planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology. The silica-on-silicon PLC platform allows for "mass-customization" to meet individual customer requirements by leveraging wafer-processing techniques to integrate multiple functions in a small footprint.
