Two new spectrometers are available for tunable lasers, laser diodes, LEDs, Raman-shifted lasers and fiberoptic components The LaserWave-I measures from 760 to 1000 nm with a resolution of 0.3 nm. Options allow for 200-1100-nm coverage in 230-, 450-, or 600-nm segments and corresponding resolutions of 0.3, 0.8, and 2.3 nm. The LaserWave-ll measures from 1450 to 1650 nm and can track individual peaks with an accuracy of ±0.02 nm. The spectrometers use a SMA 905 fiberoptic input connector and can be used either directly or with an input fiber. There are options to connect to a PC serial port, USB, or a plug-in card. Windows-based software includes calculation of the peak, centroid, and FWHM. TTL trigger control is provided for pulsed lasers.
